Sponsorship of less privilege orphan children, pregnant teenage girls, and teenage mothers through school in Alatening Village (2024/2025)
Overview
The socio-political crisis that had heat the Anglophone regions of Cameroon from late 2016 to date, has brought about enormous loses ranging from human life to property. Given a host of human life lost, many children now room the streets of the northwest region as orphans, pregnant teenagers, teenage mothers, and a host of women as widows. With property lost, schools are the most affected with some haven been completely race down to ashes and lead a host of children into frustration. Bridgender Gap Global (BGG) went to the field (principally within the Northwest region) from September 2023 gathering and processing data relating orphan children, pregnant teenage girls, and teenage mothers out of school as well as less underprivileged widows evolving from the said socio-political crisis. To relate a direct impact, we embarked on a series of projects flagged as BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN IN THE NORTHWEST REGION OF CAMEROON and within this head, we are:
·Encouraging pregnant teenage girls and teenage mothers to get back to school through advocacy and sponsoreship
·Fully Sponsoring Double orphan children through education
·Paying fee and providing basic school necessities to paternal orphans
Presentation of project
Providing essential school needs such as exercise books, school bags, pens, pencils, chalks, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, water bottles, and school fees to paternal orphans, and additionally with monthly allowances to double orphan children, pregnant teenagers, and teenage mothers.

Grace is the CEO of Adelaar Energy and an advisory board member of the African Energy Chamber. She commenced her professional journey as an audit staff at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before she transitioned to the energy industry. She started off as a Business Planning and Economic Analyst for Shell Cameroon and then worked as a Business Analyst and Economist for Shell Nigeria for several years. She also worked as a senior manager (business planning and economics) at a medium-sized multi-national company, Addax Petroleum (SINOPEC Company) before moving to Eroton Exploration & Production Company, one of Nigeria’s biggest indigenous startups where she served as a senior manager in Business strategy and economics.
